Emily Green, Content Manager at Howarth Timber, said: “Creating a workplace where people feel seen, supported, and able to thrive is something we feel strongly about. We are truly grateful for this recognition and proud to contribute to building a more inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone."

Last month the Burnley branch, based in Pratt Street, hosted a big Christmas foodbank appeal to support families in need during the Christmas season. They invited invited residents to donate toys, food, and household items and praised the community’s response, calling it overwhelming, and would like to thank all those who made generous contributions.

A spokesman for the conpany said: “These donations have helped ensure that families in Burnley can enjoy a comfortable and joyful Christmas.”
