Howarth Timber supports local families in Burnley ahead of Christmas
A timber company’s Burnley branch has hosted a big Christmas foodbank appeal.
Howarth Timber and Building Supplies wrapped up its festive collection drive aimed at supporting families in need during the Christmas season.
The branch invited residents to donate toys, food, and household items.
The team praised the community’s response, calling it overwhelming, and would like to thank all those who made generous contributions.
The branch collected a wide range of items, including:
- Toys for children of all ages;
- Household items, such as soap, shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and washing-up liquid;
- Pantry staples, including pasta, rice, tinned goods, sauces, cereals, and snacks;
- Beverages like tea, coffee, long-life milk, and hot chocolate;
- Baby products and sanitary items.
