“Reaching our first birthday felt like such a huge milestone. When I decided to leave my career and open Peckish, there were so many ways it could have gone – and there have definitely been moments during the year when I wondered what on earth I was doing.

“But the support we’ve had has been incredible. We have customers who have been with us from the beginning, people who recommend us to their friends and family and familiar faces who walk through the door week after week. We wanted our birthday week to be a thank you to them, which is why we filled it with little surprises, gifts and some of the favourite specials from our first year.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built and very excited to see what year two brings.”
