Participants had the chance to win a colourful Easter hamper filled with treats, activities and a cuddly bunny, displayed in-store throughout the campaign.

The winner was drawn on Good Friday, with six-year-old Esme from Burnley taking home the prize after their chosen bunny name was selected.

The competition proved popular with customers of all ages, helping to raise funds for a cause close to the team’s heart.

Mark Addison, retail director, said: ‘We wanted to do something simple and fun for our customers while continuing to support TEAM RISE. The response has been fantastic, and it’s great to see so many people getting involved and helping us raise money for such an important community charity.’

TEAM RISE provides vital services across East Lancashire, including tailored support programmes, skills development and community initiatives designed to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.

The Easter competition is part of Specsavers in Burnley’s ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots causes and bringing the community together through creative fundraising activities.
