Theatre group hosting fun run

Burnley Youth Theatre is inviting residents to take part in a fund-raising fun run.

Participants have a choice of either a one mile run or a 5K race and are encouraged to don fancy dress.

There will be prizes for category winners and anyone in fancy dress and a chocolate throw-out during a presentation will follow the races.

A host of family activities with an Easter theme will also be offered.

The event will take place in Thompson Park and Bank Hall, Burnley, on Saturday, April 1st at 11am.

Registration is from 9-30am at Burnley Youth Theatre. The fun run is £3 and the 5K costs £5, with all proceeds going to BYT.
