Tap dancer Tasha McSherry and singer/guitarist Hannah Smalley, both of St Christopher's CE High School, Accrington, will complete the line-up.

Organiser Molly Ralphson said: "The level of talent in the contest has been amazing. I really don't envy the judges having to decide the winner on Friday!"

Sponsors Standish Street Dental Practice have offered the £500 prize, which will go towards the winner's school. A panel of professional judges comprising Karen Metcalfe, Max Preston and Jon Hoyle will be on hand to pick the champion while a second prize-winner will be voted for by the audience.

The contest will take place on Friday at Burnley Youth Theatre, Queen's Park Road, at 7pm.
