Smash hit show set to be a real 'Thriller'
World renowned Michael Jackson impersonator Navi, who is set to perform in Burnley on Friday night (March 3rd), is to star in a new film about the last few days of the music legend, it has been revealed.
After 24 years performing all over the world Navi is to play the pop icon in the film Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland.
It is based on the book Remember the Time:Protecting Michael Jackson in his final days and will be told through the eyes of his bodyguards.
Navi, who is widely considered to be one of the best in the industry, is making his acting debut and also stars Chad L Coleman from The smash hit TV show The Walking Dead who will play Michael's bodyguard.
Navi has been performing as Jacko for almost 25 years and holds the accolade for being the only tribute act to perform for Jackson himself to which he received a standing ovation from the late singer.
He was also invited to Michael's Neverland home and was personally chosen to work as his decoy for many years.
The sell out Burnley show The King of Pop: The Legend Continues at the Mechanics Theatre will be packed with Jackson devotees who will listen to him belt out a selection of Michael's most memorable hits including Smooth Criminal, Thriller and Billie Jean.
