Game review: The Legend of Korra

Activision has just released a trailer for their upcoming third-person action video game, The Legend of Korra.

Part one of the series dives into the origins of this unique collaboration between Nickelodeon, Activision Publishing and developer PlatinumGames.

From the beginning, making a Legend of Korra game meant finding a studio whose passion and talent could match the energetic character, style and fun of Nickelodeon’s animated TV programme, the story of a headstrong young woman who can control the four elements of nature. For PlatinumGames, the allure was the challenge of capturing such a well-drawn world in a new medium while staying true to its reputation as a creator of breathtaking, eye-popping action experiences. The short also shows off some of the combo-driven brawling and vibrant colour, animation and detail going into the game’s final production.
