All but one of the poems, and two sketches, were penned by the society’s members.

A luxurious raffle completed the night’s entertainment.

Taking the seat of musical director was the talented Lorna Greaves, a graduate of the Royal College of Music.

A fantastic £1000 was raised for the hospice.
