She will attend a three-day High Performance Assessment Camp later this month at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, where the squads from the East, West and South will also be attending, as will England coaches!

Olivia’s selection comes after a hectic 12-month period.

First up came a trial for Lancashire, where she was picked to represent her county for the fourth-successive year.

From there she won a trial for the North West Manchester Pumas at Under 17 level, where she caught the eye and represented the Pumas against Durham and Leeds.

That led to two weekends of trials for the North squad, and on Friday she got the call to represent Pennine Pumas at Hipac - where the four regions - with 18 girls from each - will attend a residential coaching weekend.

High Performance Assessment Camps aim to give players first-hand experience of an international training camp environment, in preparation for potential future involvement in a National Age Group Squad.

Players will receive high level coaching, led by England Hockey Board-appointed Centrally contracted coaches and regional coaches, and match play opportunities.

Selected players from the HiPACs will be invited to attend National Age Group Squad training.
