Dancers from across the North West took part in the event. Clog dancing has very strong Lancashire roots and began in the days of the Industrial revolution.

One of the earliest dances was the old Lancashire heel and toe style which was performed in and around the cotton mills that covered the area.

Dancers young and old competed in a variety of classes at the mill which featured in the hugely-successful film The King’s Speech which starred Colin Firth.
