Pendle Vale College students shot to success after showcasing their sporting talents and winning gold at the county’s tee-ball challenge.

The pupils came out on top after competing against other districts across Lancashire in a series of round robin events, allowing each district to play against each other in a fair tournament.

The title of overall county champions was presented to team Chorley for the second year running, with the district clinching a total of nine medals – beating last year’s total of six.

The Lancashire Lion, SPAR Lancashire School Games mascot, was on hand to cheer on pupils throughout the day.
