Lawless holds nerve in snooker final
The Fred Musgrove team knockout final between Burnley Snooker Club and Alexandra Snooker Club in Nelson was a thrilling affair.
The match was a two-legged affair, with Burnley 3-2 up after the first leg.
After a tense second leg at Burnley, the tie was level at 5-5, with a deciding frame was needed.
Burnley put Simon Lawless to the table, and Alexandra put John Lanceley to the table.
Both are big minus handicap men and capable of some very good snooker, but it was Lawless who came through.
