Burnley Express reporters given golfing lessons at Golf Rossendale Driving Range & Academy
THE Masters may have been and gone but the golfing season is now well and truly in full swing.
So while Charl Schwartzel, and unfortunately not Rory McIllory, makes room in his wardrobe for a little green number, I clubbed up and headed to Golf Rossendale Driving Range & Academy, for a short lesson in the basics of golf.
The driving range and academy opened in October and features 24 bays, a putting room, soon to be finished short game area and two PGA Professional golfers offering private tuition.
But with my swing as rusty as my 15-year-old pitching wedge, it was fair to say that head pro Mike Bardi had his work cut out.
