The squad at Scott Parker’s disposal from September onwards was almost chalk and cheese to the one he inherited following his appointment in July.
A number of players expressed their desire to leave the club following relegation from the top flight, which was quickly followed by Vincent Kompany’s surprise switch to Bayern Munich.
In total, 17 players arrived during the summer window, while a further 21 departed – either permanently or on loan.
Those 21 players have experienced mixed campaigns this season, so we’ve decided to take a look at each player to see how they’ve performed since leaving Turf Moor.
Here’s the 21 in alphabetical order:

17. Scott Twine (Bristol City)
The attacking midfielder scored six times in 37 games as Liam Manning's side reached the Championship play-offs, where they were comfortably knocked out at the semi-final stage by Sheffield United. Photo: Ryan Hiscott

18. Julien Vetro (loan to Dundee)
Like Adewumi, Vetro was immediately sent out to Burnley's partner club Dundee after making the move to Turf Moor from Bordeaux. The 21-year-old was recalled to Burnley in January after making just six appearances. In November, Vetro was rushed to hospital after fainting in the dressing room before a game, but was able to make a full recovery. Photo: ROMAIN PERROCHEAU

19. Lawrence Vigouroux (Swansea City)
The move to South Wales has worked out for the 31-year-old, who was third choice at Burnley prior to his departure. The stopper has been a regular for the Swans, making 48 appearances in all competitions. Photo: Stephen Pond

20. Vitinho (Botafogo)
While it was a shame to see Vitinho leave, few Clarets would have begrudged the Brazilian after seeing him lift the Copa Libertadores in November of last year. Now in a new season, the right-back has made 15 appearances since the start of March. Photo: MAURO PIMENTEL
