VOTE NOW: Burnley FC FA Cup match switched

Following the news that Burnley FC’s FA Cup clash against West Ham has been switched from a weekend to a Monday evening, some fans have been voicing their discontent at being unable to make the trip to London on a weekday night.

Commenting on this website, one said: “The game no longer cares about its fans, we’re just customers these days!” and another spoke out, saying: “When will these people understand that for one set of fans to make such a long journey on a Monday means taking time off work (unneccessary when the game should have been played at the weekend) they can ill afford. I like to watch my team live - not on TV, unlike most Premiership fans.”

However, some fans are looking forward to catching the game live from the comfort of the pub.
