Ulvestad injury not as serious as first thought
Burnley Football Club have confirmed that Fredrik Ulvestad has not suffered serious damage after being stretchered off against Bradford City.
The Norwegian international midfielder had a brief three-minute spell as a second-half substitute before an innocuous tackle saw him suffer an ankle injury.
After being withdrawn, Ulvestad went to hospital for precautionary x-rays on the injury and those scans have revealed that he has a twisted ankle that will require a period of rest.
