Timeframe on Maxime Esteve's Burnley return after Bournemouth injury absence
It will be touch and go whether Maxime Esteve will be fit enough to return for Burnley’s post-Christmas clash against Everton.
The Frenchman missed Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth with an injury that forced him to withdraw from training on Friday.
While the knock isn’t thought to be serious, it remains to be seen whether the centre-back is back in time to face the Toffees at Turf Moor on Saturday, December 27.

Joe Worrall got the nod in Esteve’s absence for his first league start of the season, although Parker did opt to switch to a back three – with Laurent also starting alongside Hjalmar Ekdal.
Lucas Pires and Kyle Walker both came straight back in to fill the wing-back roles after serving their one-match bans against Fulham last week.
