Three Burnley players named in SkyBet Championship’s top 10 players

Danny Ings was named the Championship player of the year at The Brewery in London earlier this month, but today the Football League revealed more results of the poll of all 24 managers in the division.

Ings’ strike partner Sam Vokes came in in sixth place, with Keiran Trippier claiming eighth place.

League leaders Leicester City had Danny Drinkwater (3rd), David Nugent (5th) and Jamie Vardy (7th) selected.

The rest of the top 10 was Ross McCormack (Leeds United, 2nd), Andy Reid (Nottingham Forest, 4th), Aaron Cresswell (Ipswich Town, 9th) and Will Hughes (Derby County, 10th).
