Supporters’ Club to run pre-season trip to West Country

BURNLEY Supporters’ Club are proposing to run a trip to coincide with Burnley’s pre-season tour of the West Country.

Departing on Monday, July 30th, the trip will involve staying at the Smiths Hotel in Weston-Super-Mare for five nights, returning on August 4th.

Cost is £395 per person, with a £50 deposit required.

Sight-seeing tours will be included in the trip.

The pre-season schedule so far sees the club take a side to Mossley on Saturday, July 14th (kick-off 3 p.m.), before the first team squad travek to Altrincham to kick things off in earnest on Saturday, July 21st 3 p.m.).

The Clarets then face the short trip up the M66 to Bury’s Gigg Lane on Tuesday, July 24th (7-45).

Eddie Howe takes his men to Bath the following week, where they are expected to have two games, including one against Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road.

And the warm-up games continue on Tuesday, August 7th with a trip to Rochdale (7-30 p.m.).
