Following recent speculation linking Burnley's star goalkeeper Nick Pope with a move away from Turf Moor, bookmakers SkyBet have priced up the likes of Spurs (9/2), Liverpool (6/1) and West Ham United’s (6/1) odds of luring away the 24-year-old ace.

It is worth noting that while the bookmakers aren't offering a 'to stay at Burnley' option, the lengthy odds offered on the aforementioned sides suggest that any move for the 28-year-old is still some way off coming to fruition.

Pope, who could be in line to become England's number one for the upcoming rescheduled Euro 2020 tournament, still has over two years left on his existing Clarets contract, and is unlikely to be sold on the cheap - national media reports have suggested it would take a bid in the region of £50m to prise away the shot-stopping sensation.

Last month, when asked by the Burnley Express whether there was any better goalkeeper in the country than Pope, Clarets boss Sean Dyche revealed: “I’m going to say not, because I’m his manager, and I have great value in him, his form and how he goes about it.

“He continues to improve in my opinion. I’m completely biased but he’s in very good form, that’s for sure.”
