Southgate sees Clarets beat Palace
England interim boss Gareth Southgate was at Turf Moor to see Burnley beat Crystal Palace 3-2.
And Sean Dyche feels he would have been impressed by the performances of keeper Tom Heaton and centre backs Michael Keane and Ben Mee.
Heaton has been a regular in the England squad since May last year, while Keane was a late replacement for Stoke City right back Glen Johnson for the last squad who beat Malta and drew in Slovenia.
Mee has two Under 21 caps, but is yet to receive senior recognition yet.
Asked if he felt Southgate would be pleased with what he saw, Dyche said: "We'll wait and see.

"I'd be surprised if he didn't think Keano did well today, that's for sure, and Heats as well. Both centre halves were excellent again."
The squad for the games with Scotland and Spain is announced tomorrow.
