Scott Arfield hoping to shake off injury to be available for Man Utd
Midfielder Scott Arfield wasn't in the 18 at Everton on Saturday, after picking up an injury in training late in the week.
Boss Sean Dyche hopes the knee problem isn’t too much of an issue, and he could come into contention for Sunday’s televised home clash with Manchester United.
Dyche explained: “Scotty had a knock, right at the end of last week, a small problem with his knee.
“We think it will settle down and he’ll be ok. “
Striker Sam Vokes, who scored Burnley’s goal from the spot in theor 3-1 defeat at Goodison Park, will also be assessed: “Vokesy came off with a tight hamstring, so we’ll see where that’s at, but we have an extra day.”
