The Premier League will resume in just under three weeks.

Top flight clubs have agreed a restart date of Saturday, June 20th, although, according to The Telegraph, the two remaining games to take all clubs up to 29 matches played - Manchester City v Arsenal and Aston Villa v Sheffield United, will be held on Wednesday, June 17th, with another game to be played on the Friday, June 19th.

The Premier League has been suspended since the middle of March due to the coronavirus crisis, with Burnley's last game being the 1-1 draw at home to Spurs on March 7th.

Clubs were allowed to return to training in small 'pods' last week, in groups of five to apply social distancing rules, but on Wednesday, they voted unanimously to return to contact training.

Games will be behind closed doors, although it appears clubs will be able to play their home fixtures at their own grounds, other than a small number of more 'high proflile' matches.
