Padiham dog Mr Jenson is a Burnley FC fan

He is Padiham pooch Mr Jensen (the Beast), named after Burnley FC’s legendary goalkeeper Brian Jensen. And he must be the club’s top four-legged fan.

The 10-month-old Boxer Doberman cross has become a canine celebrity around Padiham. As everytime he gets taken out for a walk he is dressed in his very own Claret and Blue top!

Owner May Harrison, of Hapton Road, said: “People are always asking us if they can take pictures of Mr Jensen.

“He always wears his shirt when he goes out now.”

May, husband Kevin and their daughter Charlotte (17) are season ticket holders and Claret crazy.

Charlotte, who is studying public services at UCLAN and wants to be a football commentator, never misses a home or away game. She got hooked when her dad took her to her first game at the age of seven. Brian Jensen is her all time favourite and she has pictures of him plastered all over her bedroom and a prized possession of a shirt signed by him.
