More to come from strike ace Andre '“ Dyche
Clarets boss Sean Dyche insists there is more to come from striker Andre Gray after he took his tally to nine goals for the season on Saturday.
Gray netted twice in the 3-2 defeat at Swansea City, after a week where he was linked with an England call-up, as well as a switch to Tottenham Hotspur.
The 25-year-old is in his first season at Premier League level, after only two seasons in the Football League, both in the Championship, with Brentford and the Clarets, and Dyche said, after his brace at the Liberty Stadium: “He looked calm with his penalty, really good finish, nearly gets an assist for (Sam) Vokesy, so he’s developing, he’s maturing as a player.
“He’s still adapting to the Premier League, there’s still more from his all-round game to come, but I’ve never questioned his ability to score a goal.
“He needed the calmness to deliver from the penalty, and the second was a really good goal - very much like him, he’s instinctive in what he does, and a great turn and great finish.”
