Midfielder Arfield treating big Turf clash as just another game

In what is one of the biggest games at Turf Moor since the Premier League season, the Championship-leading Clarets host title favourites Rangers, with Charlie Austin making his first return to the club.

But Arfield is not placing too much importance on the outcome, other than the three points on offer: “Regardless what position you’re in in the league when QPR come to town, having played in the Premier League last season, it will be a great game.

“It will be a great game for the fans and ourselves and what we want to do, and hopefully we can get three points.

“I think they’re favourites to go up at the moment and rightly so. They took a fantastic player off us in Charlie, a good goalscorer and he scored again on Saturday so we need to keep a close eye on him.

“It’s going to be a hard game but we’re confident we can go anywhere and do anything.

“With the resources and the money they (QPR) have got behind the club it’s brilliant to be up there. I know that we’ve got that dressing room and we’ll be right up for it.”
