Michael Duff red card decision overturned
The red card shown to Burnley defender Michael Duff at West Ham United last weekend has today (Wednesday) been rescinded by the FA’s disciplinary committee.
Duff was dismissed on 23 minutes at the Boleyn Ground after referee Jonathan Moss adjudged that he had committed a professional foul on Cheikhou Kouyate in the penalty area.
The decision to overturn Duff’s one-match ban means the 37-year-old will be available for selection ahead of this weekend’s trip to Hull City.
