Leicester 'make move' for Burnley star James Tarkowski
The Clarets centre half has been the subject of much interest from other clubs during the summer, with West Ham United having made several attempts to take him to the London Stadium.
It would appear that the offer from Leicester is well short of the Clarets' £50m valuation.
Tarkowski was in fine form last season, helping the Clarets finish 10th in the Premier League.
However, his good form was not rewarded by an England call-up from Gareth Southgate for this summer's internationals.
Tarkowski has yet to make an appearance this season after suffering an inflamed toe.
He said: “I’ll wait on more news on him, it’s not serious but it’s inflamed, his toe, so if it settles down, he’s got a chance.”
Tarkowski has been the subject of two offers from West Ham, both rejected, and asked whether his head has been turned, Dyche said: “I don’t think it’s helpful, too much noise, but he’ll be used to it, he’ll know all about that.
“We’ve had links with lots of players the last few years, him included only last year.
“He’s a top pro, a very level headed guy, and once his injury is right, he’ll get on with things, as he always does.”
