Leading pundit expects summer Premier League transfer interest in Burnley man
A leading pundit expects Burnley’s Jaidon Anthony to attract summer transfer interest from Premier League sides.
It comes after the winger has enjoyed a strong impact in his first full season in the top flight, scoring seven Premier League goals.
With eight goals to his name in all competitions, the 26-year-old has also assisted one goal this term.
Despite Burnley’s struggles this term, with relegation looking inevitably, Sky Sports Alan Smith pundit believes the former Bournemouth man has done enough to stay at this level.

“It’s never easy, is it, for a player in any position to shine when you’re losing most matches? But Jaidon Anthony has done well,” he said.
"I don’t think he’s done well enough that there’ll be a clamour of clubs after his services. Everton and Fulham, who are linked, Everton – [Jack] Grealish will go back to Man City, probably. I’m talking about the left-hand side where they’ve got Iliman Ndiaye, who’s a good player, a very talented boy. Fulham have Oscar Bobb playing on the left.

“I think maybe with Jaidon Anthony, you’d look at the promoted clubs. Maybe they would have a look and think: ‘well, he’s done quite well in the Premier League, he’s made the step up. He could be for us’.”
