Jay Rod set to take on Clarets in the FA Cup
Sunday’s FA Cup third round draw paired Burnley with Premier League Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium - meaning former Clarets striker Jay Rodriguez could come up against his hometown club for the first time.
Rodriguez, who recently won his first England cap against Chile at Wembley, joined the Saints for a club record £7m in the summer of 2012.
A date and ticket prices for the fixture are to be announced .
This season marks a century since Burnley’s only ever FA Cup win in 1914.
