Jason Tindall hopes to continue success
They were only able to field a full bench 10 times - more often than not only having three substitutes.
But with one of the strongest squads in the Championship now at their disposal, Tindall said: “Hopefully I’ll be hanging my boots up now - there are a few more players here than we had at Bournemouth!
“I don’t think my boots will be needed anymore.
“We struggled to fill the bench last season, and I was on the bench a few times, but hopefully I won’t have to do that here.”
But he is excited about the step up to the Championship: “For sure. Our work won’t change, the way we do things won’t change and I think that’s important.
“We had great success at Bournemouth through doing what we do.
“We’re not going to come here and start changing the way we work because it’s a step up and a league up.
“We’ll carry on doing what we’ve always done, and hopefully we can carry on the success here.”
And Tindall explained the partnership’s chemistry: “We share the same philosophies. We’re very hard working and there’s a lot of thought goes behind everything we do. We get on really well. That’s very important.
“When we’re not with each other we’re speaking on the phone.
“We’ve got a good working relationship, and also our relationship away from football is also strong.”
