Joshua King and Harry Wilson both had goals chalked off for the visitors following VAR checks while Matej Vydra, Jay Rodriguez (PEN) and Dwight McNeil wrapped up the points as Sean Dyche's side won for the fourth time in five games.
9. Ashley Westwood 8
The midfielder was absolutely everywhere. He pressed his marker to force the away side into retreat, always showed for the ball and linked play well in the middle of the park. Almost scored directly from another corner in the second half.
10. Jay Rodriguez 8
The striker has given the Clarets a different dimension up front since his introduction. Pops up all over the pitch, stretches the defence, links play and offers support in the channels. Kept cool and picked out the top corner to beat Stockdale from the spot.
11. Matej Vydra 8
Already striking the right chord alongside Rodriguez. Undetectable at times, making it difficult for defenders to pick him up, and created so many chances. Went close numerous times in the first half, causing mayhem, and took his goal wonderfully.
12. Aaron Lennon 6
Did everything that was asked of him during his eight-minute cameo. With the Cherries pushing forward, the former England international was able to run with the ball unchallenged to get Burnley back on the front foot.
