Boss Sean Dyche made three changes - with Phil Bardsley, Charlie Taylor and Wood all coming in to the side - as Burnley equalled their biggest win of the campaign. Here's how we rated the players.
5. Ashley Westwood 7
Battled hard in the middle of the pitch, won every second ball up against Rice, gave Snodgrass and Fornals very little time on the ball and provided the corner for Burnley's third goal.
6. Dwight McNeil 8
Yet another man of the match display for the soon-to-be 20-year-old. His running gave Fredericks a whole manner of issues, he had a hand in Burnley's opener and set up the second for Wood.
7. Chris Wood 8
The New Zealander showed just how much he's been missed on his return to the side. Scored Burnley's second, had a header ruled out and could have had another three having led the line extremely well.
8. Ashley Barnes 7
Ended a run of seven games without a goal in the 11th minute. Looked to appreciate Wood's return up front and that goal will do wonders for his confidence.
