Ings: Clarets can bounce back to Premier League without me

Ings is set to depart Turf Moor after four years, once his contract expires at the end of June.
It was widely believed he would end up at Liverpool, but there is reported interest from Spurs, while Real Sociedad boss David Moyes retains a hope he could convince the player to move to San Sebastián.

But, asked if Burnley can earn a return to the top flight in 12 months’ time after relegation, Ings said: “Of course they can.
“All you have to look at is the way they performed this year, and the mentality of the group.
“The gaffer has got us all moving in the right direction.
“The lads have been unbelievable, ever since the gaffer came in.

“They’re building a brand new training ground to help the lads enjoy it.
“There’s no reason why Burnley can’t do it.”
Ings has thoroughly enjoyed playing under Sean Dyche at Burnley, and feels he is paramount to the club’s future success.
Asked how important the manager is, Ings added: “Massive.
“He’s what everybody looks up to, from the fans to the players.

“He’s very hard-working, but he makes sure he gets the best out of you, but that you get the best out of him as well.
“I know all the lads appreciate the work that he does with us.”
Ings finished the season with 11 Premier League goals, including the winner at Aston Villa on Sunday in what is expected to be his last appearance in a Burnley shirt.
