The former Bees leading scorer was unveiled a week after Burnley boss Sean Dyche recruited Hennings.
And he’ll join a pool of strikers including Jelle Vossen, Sam Vokes, Lukas Jutkiewicz, Marvin Sordell and the injured Ashley Barnes.

“It’s good for us,” he said.
“We have a really long season and a lot of games and we need a lot of players.
“Everybody wants to play. Me too.”
And the 27-year-old, who netted 18 times for Karlsruher SC last season to finish top scorer in Bundesliga 2, was pleased to mark his Turf Moor debut with victory at the weekend.
Hennings partnered Jutkiewicz up front in the 1-0 triumph over Brentford before being replaced by Vokes on the hour.
“It’s a good start for me,” he said.
“When the team wins it’s easier for me to play (up front).

“I hope in the next few week it will be the same.”
Hennings added: “It’s a little bit different.
“In Germany we play more with the midfield pressing.
“Here, in my opinion, everyone presses. I have to learn that.
“In Germany we can run a little bit slower and then attack.
“Everything here is high intensity, but it’s okay.
“When I get the ball here I think I have more time.
“In Germany the defender is already behind.
“But without the ball I have to run much more.
“It’s new for me.
“I’ve only been here a week.
“I think in a few weeks I will learn every day.
“I know what the gaffer wants.”
