The 51-year-old, who had also previously held coaching roles with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers, continued as first-team coach after the appointment of Eddie Howe, but leaves following an end-of-season review of the Clarets’ coaching and playing set-up.
Hoskin, 43, was appointed as development/reserve-team coach at the start of the 2010/11 season.
A joint-role saw the former Clarets’ winger work with the club’s development squad, in addition to steering the reserve side to runners-up in the totesport.com league.
Burnley Football Club would like to thank Stuart and Ashley for their efforts during their time at Turf Moor and wish them well in their future careers.
