The 29-year-old, signed by Sean Dyche on transfer deadline day, topped the charts for distances covered in the 2-1 win over Stoke City this weekend.

Data, courtesy of the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, the official player ranking index of the Premier League, showed the former Tiger registered 8.29 miles at the Britannia Stadium.

Boyd is also ranked fourth and ninth in the top 10 - covering 8.07 miles and 7.95 miles in fixtures against Hull City and West Ham United respectively.

Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson is ranked second and third, covering 8.19 miles against Manchester United and 8.1 miles in the 1-0 win over the Clarets at the Liberty Stadium in August.

Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin is fifth, Spurs’ Christian Eriksen sixth, Arsenal’s Mathieu Flamini is seventh, Leicester City’s Dean Hammond is eighth and Manchester City’s James Milner is 10th.
