Framework is key to promotion hopes – Heaton

Hide AdAnd Heaton said, after the win at Blackburn made it seven wins from 10 games: “We keep momentum moving forward, keep it rolling.
“We’ve been going well and we’ll look for that to snowball to keep winning games.”
Burnley still have more to come, in terms of fluid football, but their spirit and mentality is helping find a way to win at present, and the captain admitted: “There’s different ways to win a football match, which is what the manager says to us all the time.
“Something that’s been instilled in this team is that foundation of being solid at the back and the framework of the team.

“Then we’ve got enough quality to score goals. You don’t always have to knock it around like Brazil to win.”
The win at Blackburn brought a fourth clean sheet and he added; “If you keep the ball out of the net then you stand a great chance of winning because we’ve got a lot of players who can score goals from different areas. We’ve got goals all over.
“We’ve got that back foot defending.
“We stick in there, we’re solid and we’re tough to break down.”
