Hide AdPhil Neville has donated a shirt from his personal collection which he wore at a legends game which has been signed by the likes of David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs and Phil and Gary Neville and it will be auctioned this weekend in support of Mick and Pendleside Hospice.
“My uncle is former Burnley player Martin Dobson and I just asked if he could get anything for me as he still does work for Everton,” said Martin Shutt, who is a former St Ted’s Old Boy who helped to organise Sunday’s charity match.
“He emailed Phil and couldn’t believe it when the shirt turned up in the post and it’s one from Phil’s own personal collection.
“At Sunday’s auction, after the game, a Ryan Giggs signed photo was sold for £350 so we are starting the bidding for £2,500 for this shirt which will end on Monday (December 1st) at 9pm.”
