Florentino Luis makes Burnley admission following drab display at Everton
Florentino Luis has taken to social media to acknowledge Burnley’s below-par display at Everton last night.
The midfielder was part of a Clarets side that served up a dismal display on Merseyside, losing 2-0 to David Moyes’ outfit.
The scoreline actually flattered Burnley though, with the visitors offering little in the way of an attacking threat.
Florentino, who started the game before being taken off in the 57th minute, admits the display wasn’t good enough.
But despite the eight-point gap to safety, which could widen tonight with Burnley’s relegation rivals all in action, the midfielder insists survival is still a possibility.

"We are disappointed with the result,” he posted on his Instagram page. “That was not the performance we wanted to deliver.

“We will reflect on this match and prepare ourselves for the final part of the season in our best shape.
“WE BELIEVE.”
