England team-mates at funeral of Burnley FC legend John Connelly
CLARETS greats from yesteryear formed a poignant guard of honour as the coffin of Turf legend John Connelly was carried into St Mary’s RC Church, Burnley, this morning (Monday).
The England World Cup winner died at the age of 74. Among those paying their respects were former England team-mates Sir Bobby Charlton and Nobby Stiles.
