But he admits the striker may have to be patient, even amid speculation Gareth Southgate is considering bringing him into the squad for the friendly with Germany and World Cup qualifier with Lithuania at the end of the month.Of English strikers available, only Harry Kane, Jermain Defoe, Troy Deeney and Jamie Vardy have scored more Premier League goals than Gray's six this season, although attacking midfielders Dele Alli, Michail Antonio, Theo Walcott and Adam Lallana also have a greater tally.Dyche is pleased with his progress, in his first season at this level, after only two years in the Championship, following a move from non league.Dyche said: "I think he's still learning, and there's a lot more to come, particularly as he adapts to Premier League life."It's a different level, so it's for others to decide if he's ready."But with the national side at the moment, there's only so many English centre forwards actively playing, and maybe it has come out of that really."Only so many are playing, so if you are playing regularly and scoring goals, you have to be considered."Andre might have to wait his turn, and continue his development, but he has got goals in the Premier League and hopefully his journey will continue."Top dog with England at present is the in-form Kane, who tops the Premier League charts, and has scored three hat-tricks in his last nine games. Dyche feels his pool of strikers should be studying the Spurs striker: "I've been speaking to my centre forwards about him, even at a young age, his all-round play, will and demand, football ability...he presses from the front, he can defend, plays deeper and still joins in in the box."He's in terrific form. He's an outstanding player and one all centre forwards, particularly ours, can learn from. He can play as a one, and in a two."
