'Corner shop mentality' - This is how Burnley fans reacted to James Tarkowski's contract bombshell

The centre back was the subject of offers up to £30m from West Ham and Leicester City in the summer, but the club turned down all bids.

But Tarkowski's contract expires in the summer of 2022, and he has insisted that he won't sign an extension.

“Burnley offered me a contract near the start of last season, which, for me personally, it was nowhere near what I was going to sign and I think the club understood,” the 27-year-old told Telegraph Sport.
