Clarets drawn against Middlesbrough in FA Cup

Burnley will travel to the Riverside to take on Middlesbrough in an all Championship clash in the third round of the FA Cup.

England women’s national manager Mark Sampson pulled out ball number 10 for the Clarets to confirm the tie after former Welsh international striker John Hartson revealed ball number 26.

The tie, scheduled to take place between January 8th and 11th, will take place just five games after the pair meet in a league fixture in Teesside. Aitor Karanka’s Boro are currently second in the Championship while th Clarets are fifth, just five points behind.

The draw means that Sean Dyche’s will be on the road three games in succession with games against MK Dons and Brentford to follow.
