NEW BOY: Former Sunderland striker Ryan Noble, pictured on loan at Hartlepool last season, signed a one-year deal on Friday

Dyche snapped up midfielder Scott Arfield on a two-year deal, and striker Ryan Noble on a year’s contract, both on free transfers, to add to the captures of keepers Tom Heaton, Alex Cisak, Nick Liversedge and Daniel Nizic.

Midfielder David Jones is also expected to confirm a deal at the end of this month, and Dyche said: “I don’t think there’s an enormous amount of money available, but we’re still trying to look at a couple of other things.

“They’re not big transfers as in fees.
