Burnley transfer rumours: Clarets' Premier League rivals target interesting deals - Chelsea, Leicester City, Liverpool and Leeds United talk

Burnley take on Tottenham Premier League today.

Indeed, Sean Dyche has stated that he has nothing but the utmost respect for Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.

"Jose has his fair share of people that question whatever he does at varying clubs," Dyche said.

"I'm still relatively young, I'm coming up to 10 years in management, but my point is that these guys have been around doing amazing things for teams at amazing levels, so there's nothing but respect from me for those guys.

"It normally goes out of the window from when the whistle blows until the game stops, but I have a lot of respect for these people.

"There are managers in the Premier League that have done amazing things in the world of football, there'll never be a lack of respect from me."

And the Clarets boss has also confirmed that 'two or three' of the players sidelined with injury could return for the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Leading scorer Chris Wood could make it in time after training with the squad this week while fellow striker Jay Rodriguez is expected to feature.

Midfielder Dale Stephens is the other player more likely to travel after joining the depleted group on the grass at the Barnfield Training Centre.

"It's still not amazing," said Dyche. "Woody has been out for a few days now training, which is good, Jay Rod had a couple of knocks that we've been keeping an eye on, but he seems fine.
