And the kit heralds a return to the popular yellow and claret colour scheme.

The Clarets last yellow and claret strip was for the Championship-winning 2015/16 campaign, and yellow has featured in a number of change kits down the years, famously worn in winning 4-1 at Spurs in the Milk Cup quarter-final in 1983.

The shirt features a contrast tipping at shoulder seam, contrast rib cuffs, two colour woven crest with the bespoke ‘legs, hearts, minds' back neck sign-off, and a dropped hem.

The new claret third kit shorts complement the shirt with yellow piping to the front panels. They feature an elasticated waistband, gusset for enhanced movement, internal draw cord, embroidered stacked diamond and 2 colour club crest.

Also included are the third kit socks that are also yellow, with the new claret contrast hoops detail, BFC wording to back and stacked jacquard diamond.

Our third kit will be on sale tomorrow (Saturday, October 17th) online on the club’s official website and in-store.
