Burnley ready raid for in-demand Southampton target, Norwich City eye Celtic midfielder
A win for the Clarets, who lost to West Ham last weekend, would all but relegate the Cottagers, who are currently nine points adrift of safety with just four matches of the 2020/21 season left to play.
Speaking ahead of Burnley' s next game, Sky Sports pundit Siobhan Chamberlain was full of praise for their manager Sean Dyche, and claimed: “It [Burnley’s current points tally] should be enough (to survive), purely based on the fact that the bottom three can’t really seem to pick up any results to mount any kind of pressure on those above them.
“He (Dyche) keeps putting in these performances season after season after season to keep Burnley up there. Players buy into what he sells them. Players work hard for him. They’re organised.
“You know exactly what you’re going to get when you face Burnley. They’ll work hard, they’ll be defensively organised, and they’re going to be dangerous when they break. When you’ve got players that want to play for you, that buy into your way of playing, you’re going to get more success.
“When your backs are up against the wall and times do get difficult, if you’ve got the buy in from your players and with the manager, then it makes things a hell of a lot easier.”
