Goals from Marcus Edwards, Josh Brownhill, Connor Roberts and Manuel Benson scored an emphatic 4-0 win for Scott Parker’s side.
The scoreline doesn’t entirely tell the full story though, as the Clarets were second best for the first 45 minutes and could easy have found themselves a goal or two down at the break.
But yet again they kept another clean sheet – their 12th consecutive shutout – all the while finding their shooting boots in front of goal to record a vital three points in the hunt for promotion.
Here’s how Burnley’s players rated:

9. Hannibal - 6/10
Didn’t have the impact he’s enjoyed in recent weeks, but the visitors didn’t allow him any space to work in. Photo: Molly Darlington

10. Marcus Edwards - 9/10
Technically a level above anybody else on the pitch. Produced a moment of quality out of absolutely nothing to get Burnley up and running. Also involved in the second. Photo: Molly Darlington

11. Jaidon Anthony - 9/10
Created the second and third goals with teasing crosses that were begging to be turned home. Unlucky not to score afterwards too. Photo: Molly Darlington

12. Zian Flemming - 6/10
It’s an unenviable task, the lone striker’s role, when service is in short supply. Got no change out of the Wednesday centre-halves at all. Photo: Molly Darlington
